About this workflow

Problem

Problem

  • The deal approval process is manual and time-consuming, often causing delays in closing deals.

  • Sales reps need to chase down multiple approvers, which can lead to missed approvals or incomplete documentation.

  • Reps need to context switch between multiple platforms, including their quoting tool, team collaboration, CRM, and more.

  • There’s no straightforward way to recall quotes for minor corrections, leading to potential delays and inefficiencies.

We evaluated bringing on a tool, but ultimately decided to build it in Zapier because it lets us keep approvals in Slack, where it's easy to bring in cross-functional partners.

This system helps teams navigate contract concessions, approvals, and coordination across teams. We recommend taking a crawl-walk-run approach, and picking the part of your process today that's most painful, whether it's legal concessions, discount approvals, or something else entirely. Then, once it's working smoothly for you, build on additional related processes.
