The URL of the source file to be split. The file will be immediately downloaded and a split will be queued.

**Note**: if the file download does not start within 10 seconds, the request will fail. If the download fails later, the queued split will fail.

The type of split to be applied. Supported values include:

- File Size: each output file is at most the specified size in bytes
- Total Number of Files: split into a fixed number of files
- Lines Per File: each output file is at most the specified number of lines
- Records Per File: each output file is a fixed number of CSV records (a single CSV record may span multiple lines)
- Pass Through: there will be a single output file. Use this if you only wish to use Split CSV's other supported features such as duplicate detection, column reordering or column removal.
- Column Value: each output file is created based on the value of a specific column

The index of the column that the file should be split based on. The first column in the file is 0. Only used when the split method is ***Column Value***.

The size of each output file. Only used when the split method is ***File Size***.

The total number of files to be included in the output. Only used when the split method is ***Total Number of Files***.

The total number of lines to be included in each file. Only used when the split method is ***Lines Per File***.

The total number of CSV records to be included in each file. Only used when the split method is ***Records Per File***.

The number of header rows in the source file. Each of these header rows is copied into the output of each generated file.

The number of initial rows in the file to skip before we start processing the file. This is helpful for handling files generated by systems that automatically include a preamble or comments at the beginning of the file.

The record separator within the source file. Typically this is a comma, but other options can be specified, such as tabs, colons, semi-colons or spaces.

Controls how duplicate rows are to be handled. The options are:

* Do no duplicate row detection
* Detect duplicate rows, and copy them into a separate file, preserving the original row.
* Detect duplicate rows, remove them from the original file, then copy them into a separate file.

Requests individual triggers for each split file. By default, a single trigger is sent when the split is complete: set this to ***true*** to have a trigger sent for each split output file.

A URL that will be notified via HTTP POST when the split has been completed. Must be HTTPS.

Split CSV is the easiest way to split a CSV file: split a large file into multiple files by file size, number of files, number of lines per file, or number of records per file. You can also remove columns, eliminate duplicates and more!
