Expanded knowledge sources: Train each chatbot with up to 20 knowledge sources so it always has all the context it needs
More flexible lead collection: Choose exactly when to collect lead info — at the beginning of a conversation, after a few messages, and/or on specific keywords.

First up, let's talk about the engine powering your chatbot. We're thrilled to announce that GPT-4o mini is now available on all Zapier Chatbots plans—at no additional cost.
This more advanced model outperforms GPT-3.5 Turbo, giving your chatbot better comprehension and more nuanced responses. The best part? You don't have to worry about extra OpenAI charges. It's all included in your Zapier Chatbots add-on, with no limits on conversations or messages.
What does this mean for you? Smarter conversations, more accurate answers, and happier customers—without breaking the bank.

Scrape your website as a knowledge source
You told us that one of the most time-consuming parts of building your chatbot was compiling information and uploading knowledge sources. Now, you can simply connect your public website or help articles as knowledge sources, instantly giving your chatbot access to your most up-to-date and relevant content.
Here's how it works:
Log into Zapier and open the Chatbot editor
Click on the Knowledge tab and select Webpage.
Add web page URLs from your website or help center.
Let Zapier work its magic!
Your chatbot will now be armed with all the information from your site, ready to answer customer queries with precision.

Set a schedule to auto-sync knowledge sources
Your chatbot needs the most current information to best support your customers, so we're making it easier to keep your chatbot up to date with the latest knowledge. You can now schedule live knowledge sources, such as Tables and web pages, to automatically resync on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. This ensures your chatbot stays relevant, without you needing to manually resync your knowledge sources.
You can schedule monthly or weekly syncs on Chatbots Pro plans, and daily syncs on Chatbots Advanced plans.

We know that the more tailored your chatbot is to your business, the better it performs. That's why we've expanded the number of knowledge sources you can add for each chatbot.
Available on our paid Chatbots plans, you can now connect up to 10 knowledge sources with Chatbots Pro and 20 sources with Chatbots Advanced.
Whether it's product manuals, FAQs, or internal documentation, you can now feed more information into your chatbot. This means more accurate and customized responses, fewer escalations to your support team, and a better overall experience for your customers.
Stack conditions for smarter lead collection
Not only can your chatbot greet customers and answer questions, it can also collect leads for you. You can choose at what point in the conversation your chatbot requests that information, too:
At the beginning of the chat
After a few messages have been exchanged
When certain keywords are used
Now, you can stack multiple conditions together instead of choosing just one. This allows you to collect basic contact info from all users and only ask for more detailed info from customers who use keywords like "request appointment" or "live support."
These contact details are then saved in a single Zapier Table. From there, you can create Zaps with your table to automate enriching that data and lead nurture.
