Easily store your signed documents with SignRequest

Gone are the days of signing documents the old-fashioned way, with a feather quill and an inkwell. Well, alright—we don't mean that old-fashioned. But if you're in the business of dealing with paperwork, then you know that printing, signing, scanning, and sending documents off into the world is a bootless errand. (That's our fancy way of saying it's a waste of time—and paper.)

SignRequest, an easy digital signature tool, lets you upload, sign, send, or prepare your document for signature in just a few easy steps.  Whether it's contracts, liability waivers, or property leases, you can easily get digital documents signed securely online. Plus, they're just as legally binding as they'd be if they were signed in ink.

However, keeping track of those documents can get sticky—particularly if you're dealing with hundreds of contracts in a given month. If you use a tool like Dropbox to archive all these documents (and you should), you might want a way to add them to the right Dropbox folder automatically.

You can set up a simple Zap—our word for our automated workflows—that will automatically upload files to Dropbox whenever your documents are signed in SignRequest. That way, you don't ever have to worry about forgetting to store your signed contracts or being unable to locate them later.

The challenge: Keeping track of documents by hand can lead to disaster, especially if you deal with a great many of them every day. Yet storing your documents in the right folders in your favorite storage app every time a new document is signed can also be time-consuming and inefficient. It would be much easier if you could simply upload your documents to Dropbox automatically, as soon as they've been signed.

The solution: Forget about downloading your signed documents, finding the right folders, then uploading them to Dropbox. Once a document has been signed electronically by all parties via SignRequest, the document will be automatically stored in your Dropbox account.
